Wills

Durkin Legal - WillsOur firm handles estate planning documents for singles, partners and couples. Generally small estates (under the federal estate tax limits) do not require extensive tax avoidance mechanisms and as such, they are relatively inexpensive to complete. Complex estates can be discussed and priced on a case by case basis.

What documents do I need?
The basic estate documents that we provide as part of the estate planning package are:

Last Will & Testament
Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care
Statutory Power of Attorney
Directive to Physicians
Designation/Appointment of Guardian

You need to to answer the following questions?
What is the value of my estate:
- not counting life insurance?
- including life insurance?

Do you have real estate in more than one county?
